Stop, Look & Listen

A lesson from OSHA:
I took the kids to the library on Thursday to check out some books and as I was almost in the parking lot with the stroller and 2 little kids I noticed Ella was a ways behind me.  As I looked back, I see her standing in front of the railroad track concentrating with her hand cupped around her ear she leaned one way and then the other.  It was obvious she was listening for a train.  Then she turned her head one way and turned the other way.  I couldn't help but laugh but I didn't want her to feel bad because she was indeed doing a good thing.  I yelled, "Come on Ella!"  She came running and said, "I just wanted to be sure I kept the rules on that sign."    I just love this girl!
