Happy Halloween

We had a great time celebrating Halloween this year.  The girls have made some fantastic friends who are sisters and come from a family of 4 girls and their kids are similar ages to ours so we have fun together.  We all went out to the UPick pumpkin patch for family home evening and picked a pumpkin for us to carve as well as let the kids ride the train and just enjoyed visiting.

The whole clan & Dustin chasing Lincoln. :)

Alissa & Hadlie are the same age and Molly agrees she is pretty great.

We had Hansens over for pumpkin carving for the next FHE.  The kids always have fun doing this.

I think this may be Lincoln's first carved pumpkin.

The kids got to have their Halloween parties at school on Friday before Halloween so they got to dress up for their class parties and parade a little early.  I have a few pictures.  I helped in Molly and Ella's classes with their parties.

Molly's class.

And just because this pictures seems to fit with Halloween.  ha ha  They let me tape their faces so they looked so beautiful!

Mom was watching the kids for us one day and her ward had a Trunk or Treat over at the school across from her house so she took all 4 kids and let them have a good time collecting candy.

Then finally the actual day!  No parties at school just trick or treating which Ella got to go join Daniels for dinner and caramel apples and we all joined up for trick or treating.  Sure loves these sweet kiddos!  They are getting big!

Ella & Kailey made their costumes this year to be the two headed monster.  They turned out pretty cute.

Lincoln wasn't feeling super great so I thought I'd stay home with him but that quickly changed when he went to about two houses and saw he could get candy from them he perked right up and thought it was the greatest thing!

Halloween is a pretty fun holiday around here.  These kids sure make life eventful and exciting!

A few random from October.

Can I just say, I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!  We decided to take a little picnic on Sunday between General Conference sessions.  After struggling to sit for 4 hours with them through Saturday it was a good break.  We ran around outside and threw rocks in the water and ate some lunch on a picnic blanket on the side of the road by Bone.  It was great.

One night while waiting for dad to get home I told the girls to let me do something funny to them.  I used to do this when I was a kid and it was hilarious to watch them have fun with it too.

Alissa helping Lincoln learn to skate. He has her busy body personality.

Figuring out Halloween costumes.

I find endless amounts of selfies on my phone on a daily basis.  Looks like Alissa is the mail culprit.

BYU Football

Kenny called and asked Dustin to come to Provo and go to the football game with him.  With not much convincing Dustin said of course!  So we headed down to see Heidi & Kenny.

Playing in some leaves at the rest stop.

Sure love these babies!!  I can't quit kissing their sweet little cheeks!

Lincoln and Russell were in heaven playing together.

Grandpa and Grandma Wheeler live in Linden with my aunt Lois because they both have very severe Alzheimer disease.  We made a quick stop to see them.  It may have been a little chaotic for them.

I found these in the first book I looked through of their mission in Hawaii.  Elder Holland was BYU- Hawaii president at the time they served.

And Elder Nelson and his wife came for a fireside.  So super cool!  My grandparents have been a lot of places and done a lot of things!  It's pretty amazing.  They were ambitious people.

We went to Seven Peaks Funland and played since we still had our passes.  They had changed it up for fall and brought in truck loads of corn kernels for the kids to play in.

It was a delight.

The rollercoaster was running this time so we took a ride on it.  The kids weren't too sure about it at first.  But quickly decided we needed to do it again.

Lincoln even decided to try it out.  It was all good until it took off.  Poor kid!  I should have made him stay off he was a little scared.  But all smiles when it stopped again.

The straw maze was a success minus the allergies they soon caused.

Such a fun trip.  Love these people!
