A few random pictures of summer.

Molly playing with her friend Lydia with the ponies in the water table.

Alissa with our friend Farrah's neice Mia.  They were visiting for a week so we got to have them over to play in the water with us one day.

Ella and her friend Hannah painted Alissa's face and presented her.  So beautiful!

She loved it.

The kids let me take some cool pictures of them doing tricks outside.
We decided Alissa should be in gymnastics.

A cool close up of some bees that were busy working out in our shed.

Alissa with her Band-Aids on every corner of her body.  I got her a couple boxes of 100 for $1 that she has free rein to.  I got tired of getting them down every time she bumped her elbow.  Now I can feel happy that $.04 a day made her quit whining. :)  Sure do love this baby girl.  She is getting so big.  I need to do some updates on these kids soon!

The Hobo and Rafting

So a week ago I was picking raspberries at my mother in laws house and came home feeling like I had scratched my leg on the raspberry bushes.  The next day I could see I had actually been bit by something that left 2 holes.  After another day it was bad enough to send me into the doctor again.  My leg was hot and swollen clear down to my ankle and the actual bite spot was killing the skin.  OUCH!  It hurt a lot.  They put me on antibiotic and diagnosed it as a hobo bite for the 2nd year in a row!!  Thankfully after 1 week and some antibiotic it is feeling and looking a lot better.

The good news is I got a lot of raspberry jam made and in the freezer. :)

Dustin and I were able to go on a white water rafting trip in Jackson Hole down the Hoback this past Friday.  We opted to have the front seats to get the most out of our experience.  It was incredible!!  Super fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Here are the pictures they took of us going through a rapid.

We got to cash in our gift certificate Jeremy and Lisa gave us for Christmas to stay at a motel here in Idaho Falls that night while they watched our kids.  It was a fun little "get away".  It's always nice to have a little break from the kids even when we miss them like crazy!

Happy Birthday Molly!

My baby is 3!  It's incredible how quickly the time goes by when you have 3 kids.  I feel like I never missed a moment with Ella's first 3 years and with Molly and Alissa I can hardly keep up.

Molly got to go birthday shopping with grandma Debbie and got this
beautiful pink bike which she LOVES!

She is a pretty good rider.

Sunday morning Dustin actually woke us all up and we got to watch Molly open her presents.

We had pink pancakes and a tea party before church.

That evening we had yet another cousin party to celebrate this big girl's birthday.  We did some more activities out back.  This table was for coloring and gluing eyeballs onto their pictures.

We had a photo booth and we talked a few adults into joining in the fun.  Grandma Carol, Dustin and Devin are in there. :)

The kids had strawberry cupcakes and the adults had chocolate cake & chocolate frosting. (my favorite.  You can do that when they are only turning 3 right?)   Molly LOVED the attention.

She really wanted a piñata so I took her with me to Winco to pick it out.  She picked out Cinderella and on the way home ripped her arms off while she was playing if your happy and you know it clap your hands with the piñata.  My girls kids had a great time stuffing it with candy on Saturday night and then smacking it back out at the party.

LOTS of candy!

Molly got spoiled with lots of gifts.

A few things about this baby girl:
*She is 99% of the time - HAPPY!  She loves life and loves to party.
*She is mischievous.  She will intentionally drip her juice on the floor or color
 on her legs with markers.
*She loves food.  In fact if you want to tease her you grab the peanut butter and she will chase you until you give it back.  She is often climbing into the pantry or freezer for a snack.
*She loves nursery and I am sure that's probably because she loves her nursery teachers
Sister Payne and Capson.
*She is a little social bug.  She loves people and loves attention.  She will be the first to make friends.  I often hear people say, "I love Molly."  She is certainly the most social of all my girls.
*We call her Molls, Molly Moo, Mollzy, Moll Moll

She is such a sweetheart.  We are so blessed to have her a part of our family and honestly cannot imagine what things were like without her.  She has been such a great addition and adds such a fun dynamic to our home.  So grateful Heavenly Father has allowed us to be her parents here on earth.

Bryan's Wedding

Friday night (after cousin camp ended) we had family come in town for the weekend for Dustin's nephew Bryan's wedding.  It was a beautiful day.

I think Ella needed a nap.

Another excuse to play with our cousins.

It's really crazy how big the Braithwaite family is now.  If I figured my #s right there are 33 grandchildren, 7 of which are married and 13 great grandchildren of David & Carol.  Wow!

Cousin Camp

Thanks to my browsing in Pinterest I came across this idea of having a "Cousin Camp" for my girls with a few of their cousins.  After much planning it finally happened a few weekends ago.

We sent invitations to Kailey, Kaitlynn, McKenzie, Rebekah and Amy.  We were super lucky it worked out to have our 2 Boise cousins here.

I didn't let the girls see hardly anything I had planned until the morning of Cousin Camp.  They made a big sign for the front door to welcome everybody.

I had a schedule hanging up so they knew what to look forward to.
The girls kept me on task pretty well.

We had matching water bottles for everybody and I even cut their initial with vinyl so they knew which cup was theirs.

Cousin Bingo with their names on the squares.  We played with M & Ms.

Super fun popcorn containers I got at a garage sale.  We used for those who stayed awake long enough to watch a movie. :)

My girls sharing their snacks.  Pop Rocks and Licorice.

\

Home made suckers with Jolly Ranchers.

Paper Bag Journals.  They had 3 different tabs they could take in and out of the pockets.  1 had treasures from cousin camp, 1 was for their favorite memory and the other for a cousin to write a note to them on it.  I love how they turned out with their own personal touch.

We made crowns, send the kids on a little scavenger hunt around the block while I made dinner and had stories by the fire in the back yard.  I love how intently each girl was listening while they told their stories.

We even had special visitors - Heidi & Kenny came to have smores with us.  Sadly McKenzie ran into the house to throw up when we took this picture and was sick that night so I sent her home with her mama.  :)

Thank goodness everybody slept super great all together down stairs.  They were ready to party in the morning though with rainbow waffles.

We got right to work with coloring after breakfast.

There were 4 eyes glued to a paper and they got to make it into whatever they wanted.

Then we made their Tshirts with their names on them.  I cut their names out of vinyl and planned to spray a watered down clorox on them to look like this one.   Kailey and Ella's were the only ones that would react to bleach though.  (super weird) So we just traced the vinyl with sharpies so you could still see their names.

Super cute!  Sure love these girls!

Alissa & Amy are best cousins!

Ella & Bekah

Molly & Kaitlynn.

That afternoon we were so lucky to have a neighbor Emily Hales over to paint the kids faces.  She is working on a Personal Progress project for Young Womens so she was looking for some events to paint faces at.  I was glad to volunteer. :)  She did fantastic & the kids LOVED it!

While they were getting their face painted we decided to start a few of our games.  Like water piñatas (water balloons hanging from string) and eating doughnuts on a string with no hands.

We also did a game where a person from each team puts on a shower cap covered in shaving cream and the partner has 1 minute to get Cheetos puffs stuck in the shaving cream.  The one with the most wins.

It was funny.

A snow cone break.

Pictures of all 8 of the girls.  So thankful for cousins and the opportunity we have to live close to all of them.  They sure do make life fun and memorable and have become some of my kids very best friends.

Amy was the only one missing from these.
She was having too much fun inside playing with Alissa's toys.

The last treat was chocolate pudding, oreos and worms. :)

I hope it was a memorable event for these cute girls.  They sure were fun to have over and their anticipation and enthusiasm before the actual day was enough to drive me to continue to plan.   I am thankful for the opportunity I have to be a stay at home mom and have the time and energy to do fun things like this for the kids.  We have been so blessed.
