Sun Valley

This super amazing mom and dad invited us to go to Sun Valley this weekend.

The weather was beautiful.

After checking into the condo we bundled up to go for a ride on the Gondola.

Molly wasn't too sure about it but we had a great time.

We ate at a super fancy 7 course meal restaurant at the top of the hill.

This pretty much sums up how all the younger kids felt about it.

I think Ella thought it was ok.  She enjoyed trying some fondu.

The next morning we got up and went swimming in the most amazing pool we have ever been swimming in.  The temperature was perfect and it was so clean and nice.

The girls were cartwheeling into the pool.

And then it started to lightly snow and it was magical.

Although the trip could have been perfect ending there it got even better when we went ice skating at again the most amazing ice skating rink that is outside.  There were hardly any people and the skates fit just right and the kids had a ball!

And so did the big kids.

After skating for a while we went for a little walk to a candy shop where life got even better after having some of the most amazing chocolate ever.

This girl got some Harry Potter jelly beans which was pretty fun for her.

That night we did a little more swimming and went to church Sunday there is Sun Valley.  The ward was small but the gospel was the same.  We had such a great time I especially didn't want to come home.  It's so nice to have a vacation like that and just relax and have fun with my family.

The kids entertained themselves in the back seat with my camera.  I thought these ones were cute.

A day out & wishing for spring!

Boy it feels like winters are long and when a glimpse of spring was showing on this descent February day we packed up and went down to the river to get some much needed exercise and fresh air.

Sure love this family of mine!
