Here is a picture of Alissa on the first day of gymnastics September 2013 - same time we started Joy School and the last day of Joy School this week. She cant really even fit in that leotard anymore because she has gotten so tall for it. She has grown up lots.
Her graduation was nice this year with only 3 girls it was very low key. A graduation cap and diploma and some cupcakes at the park. Perfect!
We have had so much fun with 2 years of Joy School. It's a bitter sweet ending. She has learned a lot and certainly grown a lot. I know she is so excited for Kindergarten. I hope she doesn't struggle too much with sitting still because I would say that is her 100% struggle. She is easily distracted and ends up moving around, standing up, crawling all over. Hopefully she gets a patient teacher who can help her with this. She knows all her ABCs uppercase and lowercase and their sounds and can write them. She can also sound out a few words - I have totally dropped the ball on reading with her.
Sure love this girl! Happy for milestones and sad for her growing up too fast!
