Alissa had her final gymnastics recital. We happened to find this cute leotard at a garage sale that morning so she was happy to have a cute new one to wear.
Each student performed all by themselves on the floor, the beam and the bar. They were judged at all three and given awards in the end. This was her floor performance - cartwheel.

All the kids got a medal - she was pretty stoked about that!!
Then she was awarded 2nd place for her performance on the beam.
This is her teacher Melissa Pett. She has been a phenomenal teacher! She is so positive and cares so much about helping each of them learn. It has been a great experience for Alissa.

I was hoping she would decide to do gymnastics again next year but she says she wants to try ballet. I guess we will see how she feels in August. :) She certainly has coordination to do these types of things.
