Scout Camp 2014

This good man took a week off of work to head to scout camp with 13 young boys.  He was stressed and excited all at the same time because he knew what was ahead.
I dare say he is the best Scoutmaster I have ever seen as he follows in his dad's footsteps.

He and his trusty partner Danny won the Scoutmaster Belly Flop competition - that's how awesome these two are!!  :)  They as well as 4 boys spoke in church on Sunday and gave a small report of their week.  It was touching.

It was full of laughs, tears and testimony.  I thought it was perfect.

It made me realize how small a sacrifice it is to send him away for a week to change the lives of these boys forever.  Just as scout camp did for him all those years ago.  He helped them all climb Tablerock which was a huge highlight especially since they had one boy in particular that everybody rallied around to help get up there.  He took them to the gas station before camp and bought them all their favorite soda and they had a victory drink at the top.   He even gave me a quick call at the top.  The only time I heard from him all week.  :)

Victory Muscles!!

I love to hear these boys talk about how these experiences help mold them into who they are today and prepare to be a good missionary in the future.

So much work, so much time and energy and so many great memories built in this little campground at Treasure Mountain Scout Camp.

Grateful for a good husband!  I am blessed.

And these girlies are too!  After 5 nights in a tent he slept out 1 more night in the backyard with these 3 girls and they LOVED it!
