We had another robin nest on our house again this year. We let the mama bird do her thing and noticed the babies were getting pretty active yesterday. I decided to take some pictures.
I imagine this baby saying, "What are you looking at?"

Well sadly tonight the girls noticed there was a bird in each of the front 2 window wells. The same thing happened last time we let the birds have a nest on the front of our house. Once again we put a board and screen down there for the bird to climb out.
"Here I come!"
Mama bird got real upset at Dustin trying to help the bird in the window well under the nest. There was still 1 more bird in the nest that hadn't left so she swooped right down there and came and stood right by him squawking and flapping at him. I was chicken and ran inside to watch behind a window. He chased her off and then decided to go inside and let the baby get itself out which it did climb the screen and get out.
So fun. The kids like to go downstairs and watch the bird in the window well and again from behind the glass. It's a good place for them to watch. Hopefully they survive.
