Memorial Day Camping

For Memorial Day this year we took a trip to the Salmon River along with Alan and Pam, Boone & Sindy, Brian and Cindy, Carol and Uncle Brent.  We lucked out and got to take my parents work trailer again.  YAY!

The kid were excited to invite all their cousins over for some coloring.

The men decided to take a quick trip to Challis to buy a few supplies to fix some things around the property so Pam, Sindy and I took a bunch of the kids across the street to the school play ground.

What a bunch of monkies!

Pam and I even tried out the monkey bars.  My legs were killing from the bar the next day.  ha!

We went for a drive and saw this bird next with some robin eggs

Andrew is teaching Lincoln some tricks with sticks.

And we did a few short drives on the four wheelers.

Lots of wildflowers were out and they were BEAUTIFUL!

Gummy worm smiles.

I love how Lincoln is all smiles helping his dad.    Dustin and Alan were making some fire started bow.

My good husband stopped so I could take this picture off the side of the road.  The mountains back there are so beautiful!

We went to Jimmy Smith to see if we could catch some fish.  Most of these kids caught a ride up the trail on the four wheeler so they were happy to be there.

Lincoln caught a different kind of ride.  :)

Helping everybody across the river so we can go fishing on the other side.

The fish were ready to be caught!  Alissa learned to cast and reel all by herself and was having such a great time doing it.  She caught 2 fish.

There's Molly with her fish!

Ella and the boys hiked to the top of the shale.

Don't ever doubt we won't pick a bouquet or two of wild flowers.  They were beautiful on this little hike to Jimmy Smith.

Ella and one of her favorite cousins, Noah.

My little boy eating licorice in his Wheeler hat.  He's such a cutie pie.

We had such a great time and loved spending the weekend with cousins we don't get to see often.  It was such a blessing that my parents allowed us to take their camp trailer to stay in.  It makes camping 10x more fun for me with all the kids.  Such great memories!
