We had Easter - the kids all happily sported their new easter ears from the Easter Bunny. No fun easter egg hunts this year. Grandmas dropped off a nice basket of treats and that was great. We did color some eggs a few weeks later.. better late than never I guess. Eggs were like $3 a dozen and hard to find during this time so I didn't want to waste the ones I could find on coloring. Which is why we were a few weeks later.
We had an outing with the Hansens and tried to social distance, riding in our own vehicles, eating our own food, etc. It's difficult though. We just did the best we could. We just went up by Heise and the guys fished a bit while we visited.
We had our own family outing up to the Lava hiking trail. We just rode four wheelers around up there and had a picnic. It was chilly and windy so we didn't last too long. Still fun to get out though.
Another outing to Freeman park for a bike ride and some picnicking by the river. We set up the hammock and tried to relax. Hansens came with us again for this. Thank goodness for friends.
Another fun family outing we tried to go to Aldous Lake and see how far we could get. We ran into snow on the road and decided to build a snowman.
