Conference Weekend

For conference weekend I talked Dustin into taking us to Utah to go to the Museum of Natural Curiosity and to visit my grandma & grandpa Wheeler in Provo.  Thursday night Lincoln fell on the chair and smacked his face on the counter top.  His gums got pretty chomped up and bled all night and finally stopped late into the morning on Friday.  It was horrible.

These pictures don't do the swelling justice in my mind but I felt like he looked like a WHO from the Grinch with a swollen nose and top lip.

We went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  We all thought it was pretty great and had a good time together.

We had to convince Lincoln he would like this water table, but after a few minutes he decided it was pretty entertaining.

Part way through the museum the power went out and so we found our way to this giant lego room until the power came back on.  Seemed like a pretty good choice.

After a good time at the museum we went to a little deli for some delicious dinner.  Of course no meal is complete with a few spills and dad reminding the kids we can't take them anywhere without a giant mess.  The tradition lives on from when i was a kid.  :)  Aren't these kids beautiful!!  I sure love them and especially love spending some quality time together.

Probably the most anticipated was the swimming pool at the motel that was like 20 degrees.  The kids loved it none the less.

Saturday morning we went and did a quick visit with Grandma and Grandpa Wheeler in Provo.  Sadly I didn't get a picture.  They have dementia quite severely and we know their time is likely limited so any quick visit we can squeeze in is wonderful.

It was conference weekend so on our way home Saturday we stopped at 3 temples and took a picture.  Of course the grounds were closed because of conference, but we convinced Dustin we still needed to stop,

Even if it's raining..

We took some of my favorite pictures of the year there.  Seriously, my favorite people!

So grateful for this crazy little family I get to call mine!
