Date with Dad

We have been meaning to start taking Ella on "dates" so we can one on one talk with her and make sure she knows we love her.  It has been a few months of talking and we finally did it.  Dustin took her out to her choice which was Kiwi Loco for ice cream.

I had to laugh because he was really feeling tired and contemplating a reschedule with her but after dinner she went into her bedroom put on a nice clean outfit including a shirt, skirt, leggings and her high heels shoes.  She found a nice headband in the bathroom and came out fluffing her hair saying, "I just want to look my best."  Dustin looked a little confused as to why she was getting all pretty for him.  I just had to giggle.  These girls love their daddy and know that is precious time.

When he got home I asked him how it went and he said they hardly got to talk about anything because she was just too giddy and excited. :) 

The two of them had a great time and without a doubt she will be looking forward to her next date with her dad.
